Is Unlimited Connectivity
a Bad Practice?

For many, the cell phone has become the mobile office. If you are the boss, this constant connection might be a reasonable practice. One successful executive urges clients to call at any hour if there is a problem. For him, unlimited connectivity is a symbol of superior service.

Although that might work for the boss, should all employees be expected to stay in touch at any hour? When connectivity contributes to stress, corrective action is needed.

Abuse of employees’ time is the consequence of over communicating.
