Global Conference in Houston

Ken was asked to develop a workshop for a major energy company in Texas and, as the project developed, it expanded to encompass two tracks, one for a small group of senior managers and the other for all other supervisors and managers.

In advance, Ken visited managers and toured the company's facilities in the Houston area.

Three instructors were present for the conference: Jim Apple (materials handling topics), Art Van Bodegraven (supply chain), and Ken Ackerman (warehousing best practices).

The workshop participants came from all over the world for the week-long conference. Every continent except Antarctica was represented. The program by Ackerman and his associates filled Wednesday and Thurstday, with a train-the-trainer follow-up sesson on Friday.
